Together we have been in North Carolina public schools for a decade where we have worked with both students with and without disabilities.
Kelcie has taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students where she excelled at improving her student’s reading and math abilities. She was in the top 25% of teachers for improving her student’s reading abilities in the state of North Carolina for multiple years. She was Forest Park Elementary’s Teacher of the Year in 2021. She has since transitioned to being a specially designed instruction coach to help special education teachers improve their instructional practices and curriculum knowledge. She is also a member of the Rowan-Salisbury School District’s Autism Team.
Andrew has been a speech-language pathologist working in North Carolina Schools for the past 9 years where he has worked with a variety of different needs from articulation, language disorders, and augmentative alternative communication (AAC). He has also been a member of the Rowan-Salisbury School District’s Autism Team as well as the lead of the Assistive Technology Team.

This collaborative process empowers students to build confidence, overcome challenges, and develop a love for learning, ultimately leading to improved performance and a greater sense of achievement in their educational journey.
